One thing I love about the arts is that they can be used to inspire change all across the world, and that is why I want to start sharing articles with you about the other amazing studies of and programs involving music's impact on refugees and the communities around them. In Amman, Jordan, UNICEF has started an initiative in the Zaatari refugee camps called "My Music," which works to strengthen bonds among families living there. This article discusses the changes music brought about there and how it really has the power to connect people, regardless of location or program.
